Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Emailsee handles information when providing disposable inboxes and long-term email forwarding. The two tools have different data lifecycles, which we describe separately rather than treating “anonymous” as an unlimited promise.

1. Scope

This policy applies to disposable email, forwarding addresses, and related dashboards on emailsee.com. How third-party websites use an address you submit is governed by their own policies, and we cannot make commitments on their behalf.

2. Information handled by disposable email

When you create a disposable email address, the service generates the address, access token, creation time, and expiration time, and processes the message body and basic envelope information delivered to that address. You do not need to provide your name or real email address, but the server may still briefly process your IP address, timestamps, and request outcomes in security logs.

3. Information handled by forwarding

When you use a long-term address, we need your receiving email to send login verification codes and forward incoming messages. The system also stores the unique address you created, its active status, delivery results, and the email content needed to fulfill your forwarding request and let you review delivery records.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide the service, troubleshoot delivery, prevent abuse, and protect system security. Processing is based on fulfilling your request, our legitimate interest in maintaining the service, and applicable legal requirements. We do not sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

5. Retention periods

Different data is kept for the shortest period needed to fulfill its purpose. The periods below are normal maximums; security incidents, disputes, or legal obligations may require certain records to be retained for a limited longer period.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site uses browser local storage to save active disposable email sessions and forwarding login tokens, so you can continue after refreshing the page. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies; clearing your browser data ends the session state saved on your device.

7. Email content and attachments

Disposable inboxes do not retain attachments, while the forwarding service may temporarily process them to complete delivery and downloads. Email content may contain sensitive information provided by the sender or user. Do not use a disposable email address to receive medical, financial, or identity documents that must be kept long term.

8. Service providers and disclosure

We share only the information needed to complete the task with service providers essential to hosting, networking, and email delivery. We do not disclose email content to unrelated third parties except in response to a lawful order, an urgent security need, or a business transfer.

9. International transfers and security measures

Our network and hosting facilities may be located outside your region. We reduce risks through access controls, encryption in transit, token isolation, and least-privilege access. Internet services cannot guarantee absolute security, so you should also avoid using a disposable address as the only recovery method for a critical account.

10. Your choices and rights

You can change a disposable address, delete an individual disposable email, pause or delete a forwarding address, and disable authenticator protection in the dashboard. Applicable law may also give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. We will respond after verifying the requester’s identity.

11. Children and abuse

The service is not intended for children who require guardian consent under applicable law when that consent has not been obtained. You may not use this site for harassment, fraud, evading bans, or receiving illegal content. If we detect abuse, we may restrict related requests and retain necessary evidence.

12. Changes and contact

We update the date on this page when features, laws, or security practices change and provide appropriate notice for significant changes. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact support@emailsee.com, including the tool involved and an approximate timeframe. Do not send verification codes or complete sensitive email content.
